4-Day Maasai Mara & Lake Nakuru Safari Tour from Nairobi

You’ll be picked from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.

You will be picked up from the airport or Hotel. Thereafter and drive via Narok town to Maasai Mara National Reserve, the land of the Maasai tribe. The proud young Maasai warrior-nomads with their plaited hair, red cloaks, and spears, challenge your curiosity.
The 700-square-mile Game Reserve is the Africa of your dreams, complete with wild animals grazing amid the superb rolling landscape of gentle hills and acacia woodlands. Check in to your camp. 12.30 pm lunch at the campsite.
There will be time to settle in before your first game drive. 4.00 pm Afternoon game drive in the reserve. Return to the lodge before dark. 7.30 pm Dinner in the and overnight at Mara destiny eco tented camp or similar.

Full days spent exploring the park in search of the big 5 trailing the wildebeest migration herds and predators – Optional balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost. Overnight stay at Mara Destiny eco-camp

• The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place.

• This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena, and vultures.

Wake up to a cup of tea or coffee and then embark on your final early morning game drive before returning back to camp for a late breakfast. Shortly afterward you will depart Maasai Mara for Lake Nakuru.

• Lunches will be provided on the way as we drive via Lake Elementaita and Lake Naivasha. You will arrive at your hotel for an overnight stay in a mid-range Lodge located right inside the outside the park.

After breakfast proceeds for a game drive to Lake Nakuru which is world-renowned for its masses of flamingoes and is often referred to as the “Pink Lake”.

• Besides birds, it is possible to see small games, like Water Buck, Impala, Rhino and Buffalo in the gardens surrounding. After lunch depart to Nairobi arriving around 4/5 pm in the evening.
