Arrival
Day 2: Amboseli National Park Safari tour discovery
This park is often referred to as “The Home of Elephants” as some of the largest elephant herds are found here. Amboseli also contains vast groups of zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, and antelope. Also found are lions, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos and many species of plain game. You will take part in morning and afternoon game drives and have your meals and overnight at Amboseli Amboseli Kibo mid-range Luxury Tented Camp or similar.
Day 3: Amboseli – Lake Nakuru National Park tour
Lake Nakuru’s claim to fame is anchored on its flamingos and the over 400 species of birds found there. The Lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley. The sight of the millions of flamingos at a time is quite spectacular, making the Lake appear ringed in pink from a distance. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. The other residents at the Lake are Lions, waterbuck, buffalo, and baboons.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park- Maasai Mara National Reserve Safari
Day 5: Maasai Mara Game Reserve Holiday Tours & adventure
It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, wild dogs, jackals, hyenas and vultures.
